Indian Pacific is Australian train service between Sydney on the Pacific Ocean and Perth on the Indian Ocean. The train travels through the Blue Mountains to Broken Hill and onto Adelaide. Then over Nullarbor Plain with a stop at the shanty town of Cook to reach Perth. The journey is 4352Km which takes 4 days with sightseeing trips at Broken Hill and Adelaide.
Rapa Nui better known as Easter Island. The most isolated piece of land in the world. The island is made up of three extinct volcanoes which give it's triangular shape. It is famous for it's 887 monolithic stone statues, called Moai. It is a great place to visit due to not being commerialised and a photographers dream.
Cape Town is a sea port city on South Africa's southwest coast, towered by the famous landmark of Table Mountain and when covered with rolling Cloud. The locals say that Table Mountain has a table cloth. Just off the coast of Cape Town in Table Bay there is Robben Island. On this island is a notorious prison where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated for 27 years.
Thailand is steeped in culture and tradition with the old verses the new world. It is fun to explore the different types of markets. Just outside Bangkok there is a water market, where the traders trade their wares by boat. All the different types of orchids on display at the early morning flower market. You can also have some great fun photographing the street traders in and round the Grand Palace.
Plaza De Armas of Lima, Peru. Is the birthplace of the City of Lima and is surrounded by the Government Place, Cathedril of Lima and the Place of the Union.

Iceland is an intreguing place to visit with a population of just 320,000, of which 95% live in Reykjavík the only city in Iceland. It only takes a short drive out of Reykjavík to experience the countryside with it's gothermal activities and large glaziers in the northern part of the island.
Japan is very modern, but on the other hand its culture is very old. It is a country were the photographer will have plenty of fun taking pictures of old cultural palaces to very mordern buildings. When travelling from one city to another, you never seem to leave the city behind you due to the high population.
Singapore, is an island just off the southern tip of the Malaysian Peninsula. The country is highly urbanized with very little primary rainforest remaining, although these days more land is being created for development through land reclamation. It is also call the garden city with all its parks and gardens throughout the city. It is famous for the cultivation of different varieties of orchids and some are named after famous people.
